This course is intended to give site Supervisors, or anyone who has the day-to-day responsibility of supervising safety on construction sites, a clear understanding of how Health and Safety affects their role and the practical steps they can take to ensure a safe site. This course is intended for supervisors and site staff in the construction industry who are required to manage the organisations health and safety policy according to current legislative requirements.
The course will consist of four days classroom-based training, a supervisor touch screen test and supervisor assessment. Candidates will complete the touch screen test at one of the designated test centres and the one to one assessment normally takes place at our training facility and is takes approximately one hour.
Upon completion of all of the above; a CSR card will be issued. Candidates must have a minimum of five years on site experience in a supervisory role to be eligible for the Gold Supervisor Card. Candidates who do not have the minimum five year experience will be awarded a general/skilled or craft card (depending on their skill area and experience) which will be endorsed with the Supervisor Course on the back of their card. This can then be upgraded once the candidate gains the required experience by completing an assessment. If the candidate is a graduate/under-graduate, a Trainee Supervisor/Manager Card will be issued and no assessment will be required.
