Overhead Crane training – are your employees trained and has their training been refreshed?
Every day, materials have to be moved by machinery. If this involves the use of cranes and lifting equipment, then an understanding of the correct principles of slinging is essential.
A practical course for operators of both cab and pendant push button controlled overhead travelling cranes. The training is fully in line with HSE Approved Codes of Practice and the relevant legislation. Health and Safety law dictates that training should be renewed periodically. It is good practice to provide this refresher training every three years. Managers carrying out behavioural audits may observe that operators are not following manufacturers guidelines and are perhaps working unsafely on the use of equipment or their risk assessment may identify the need to refresh training for their operators. This is a proactive approach and doesn’t wait until someone is hurt or harm is caused.
We deliver this training in-house for companies using the equipment your employees use. Candidates are trained by an exceptional tutor and are assessed for competency when trained. Please feel free to get in touch for further details.
