This course is intended to give Site Supervisors or anyone who has the day-today responsibility of supervising safety on construction sites a clear understanding of how health and safety affects their role and practical steps they can take to ensure a safe site.

The course will consist of 4 days classroom based training and an online health, safety and environment supervisor test which is done on the last day of the course. The course is normally ran one day per week over 4 weeks.

Gold Card – Supervisor 

All applicants must compete the CSR 4 day Site Supervisor course and CITB (GB) Health, Safety and Environment test for Supervisors

To obtain this card you must have already completed the supervisor NVQ Level 3 or 4 In Construction Site Supervision.

Red Card – Trainee Supervisor/ Manager 

The card is available to both undergraduates and graduate entrants in the construction industry.

To qualify for this card, candidates must complete the 1 Day CSR Health and Safety Training or the 4 day Site Safety Supervisor course and provide evidence of either current registration with a further/higher education college for a nationally recognised construction related qualification or satisfactory completion of a nationally recognised construction related qualification or satisfactory completion of a nationally recognised construction related qualification in a further/higher education college.

Red Card – Experienced Supervisor 

This card is available to new candidates who are experienced Supervisors but do not hold a Supervisor NVQ qualification

Applicants must

• Complete the CSR 4 Day Site, Safety for Supervisors course
• Pass the CITB (GB) Health, Safety and Environmental test for Supervisors (Touch Screen Test)
• Provide proof of registration on a Supervisor NVQ (Level 3 or 4)
• Have an employer declaration signed confirming their experience as a Supervisor

Students must be completing an Level 3/4 NVQ Diploma in Construction Site Supervision  in order to eligible for the CSR Supervisor card.

Students are able to complete this NVQ with us.
